Confirmations – Why Do They Use?

You have heard the old wording "sticks and stones can break my bones, but words will never hurt me"? Well, if you've ever been to the reception of negative words, you'll know that this old saying is really a lie. Negative words will not physically hurt you – but emotionally they can understand an arrow that lasts for years.

However, positive words can build you up, you feel invincible and ready to cope with all that life can throw on you! Words have the power to heal the old arrow because of the negative words, which enable you to become a stronger person because of that. At one time or another, we have all been at the end of positive words and our self-esteem, and their worth has tied into the sunshine they create.

The good news is that you do not have to wait for others to praise you before you hit the warmth of positive words. You can tell them to yourself. This is what confirmation is given.

You might think "It's all good and good, but I'm stupid talking to myself". I hear your point, but before you finish the thoughts of confirmation, give me a few seconds to fight the corner.

You have an average of 50,000-60,000 thoughts a day. About 70-80% of these thoughts are negative! There are a huge 35,000-48,000 negative thoughts. DAY! There is no way you can consciously remember all the thoughts you have – and you definitely do not intentionally spend time blasting yourself with all the negativity – the subconscious mind addresses them.

So the question is not "why use confirmation?" – it should be "can I allow me not to use confirmation?" At the moment, whether you like it or not, you'll use your confirmation. The problem is that you do not control them – your subconscious mind is – and it took thousands of negative thoughts and repeat them over and over again! If other people have said negative things to you, especially if you've connected a feeling to them and have added them to a barrage too! The result is the current life you live and the one you are now.

Confirmation is a positive or informative statement that you repeat over and over again – until it is submitted to your subconscious mind. You use a positive statement to replace these negative thoughts that are buried in your subconscious mind. Conscious repetition of this positive statement (or confirmation) will lead to subconscious minds to mobilize positive and constructive thoughts. And as you know, a positive attitude leads to positive habits that lead to happier lives!

There are some instructions to make the most of your confirmation:

  • Make them positive – rather than saying "I'm not anymore …" or "I'm not …" say "I am …" or "I am now …"
  • Confirmations use the modern day – change "One day I will …" and "I'm going to …" for the positive and supportive "I am … now "and" now I … "
  • They will work faster if you link a positive feeling for them – the more intense, the faster the results.
  • Write them down and place them somewhere prominently-somewhere you'll see them through the day (the bathroom, the card with them in your pocket, etc.)
  • Repeat the statements with intensity and sense – find out how much it will feel when You describe this statement in your life.

So, now you know what confirmations are and how to use them, enjoy creating and embeding positive and happy statements in your life and use the process and results!
