I-CAN-DO model of training

I use some models when I train my customers, but my favorite is far from the "I can do" model. I do not like it just because of its adaptability, it's a pretty basic model but is flexible enough to work with all areas of your life. More than this, however, is mnemonic itself, what better phrase "I can do"? Simply thinking this statement puts you in a positive frame of mind and assure you that with a little effort you can really achieve what you have in mind. This is a good mentality as you start working to improve your life.

This is all very good, but what can I do, and how can it help you?

& # 39; I & # 39; conducts an investigation; This means looking at all areas of your life, such as health, family, friends, wealth, spiritual, career, leisure, community expenses, relationships, personal time and anything else that matters to you. Write down where you are now, how long you spend in each area on average week and where you seem to be in a ideal world. Often, simply writing down will show a deficit in one or more areas of your life. This is probably the most important part of this model and so take your time over this. When I work with my clients, I usually send this form and give them a week to fill it because it is important that it is accurate and honest so that there is some time to think about it. Write it once and return to it in a few days and review it again. Do you still agree with what you said? Is there anything else you want to add?

When you complete this, you have completed the first three parts of the I CAN DO model. As I said, I'm currently studying. C and A stands for current and goals. This means analyzing the current circumstances of your life and goals that you have for your life. Assuming you completed the study, you will already have a breakdown of your current situation and specify what goals you have.

N, D and O represent the number, date and result. How many ways can you think about achieving your goals, when when do you want to reach them and how will you know you've realized them? Number of ways to accomplish your goals can be a hard question to answer but think you have a similar status. If you have trouble thinking about ways to reach the goal, do some research and ask. Sometimes we get to grips with the fact that it's hard for us to see the way out, but that does not mean there's nobody!

So for someone who seeks to spend time with their family, I can do the model would work like this:

I: What is the reason why you want to spend more time with your family?

C: How much time do you spend with your family now?

A: Exactly how much time do you want to spend them?

N: What are effective ways to increase your family's family experience that you have experienced or heard about?

D: What day would you like to have more time with them?

O: How do you know when you're successful?

I can do a very basic model but at the same time it is very good at several different areas of your life. If it breaks down into what each letter stands for, you provide step-by-step instructions to accomplish your goals, no matter what they may be. Mnemonic itself puts you in the right mind to start work on improving your life and make sure that you can really achieve your goals.
