Chairman of the Board – Transactional Leadership

Business Manager is the one who, as the name suggests, is related to their team and "business" projects. His decisions are often based on tangible benefits and losses, awards and penalties, outcomes and performances. Between the commercial banks and the transformation leader, the business controller is much more common.

Business management involves a relationship between leaders or managers and his team that is a carrot and a stick in nature. This means that team members are rewarded when performing an action that has a good impact on the team's performance and are penalized when doing an action that is detrimental to the team. Awards and penalties are often used to let the team know about the appropriate and desirable action to take. Clearly, the business management style is very much based on "stock exchanges" in the interests and liabilities or "trades". As such, it is also worth remembering that Business Manager is often also a self-governing leader, emphasizing punishment and wages to encourage his team.

In terms of action, business executives are considered to be task oriented. The Business Manager makes decisions based on what produces the best results. This means that the client manager would allocate funds, manpower, time, and money based on what he thought would be an immediate exit, for example, putting the best people on the job.

As can be seen, the business controller is very much outline. This leadership team makes the business capability good for success. It would be particularly effective when short-term success is needed but long-term success is higher.

If long-term performance is equally important, then the business relationship style would not be more desirable since little emphasis is placed on resource investment, such as people's development and ownership growth.

Famous Business Manager is none other than TIMES 2009 CEO Steve Jobs. At the top of the technology and innovation giant, Apple Computers, Steve Jobs was known for his terrestrial and mission oriented nature of his leadership. He was also notorious for not hesitating to give workers a dressing if they failed to meet their expectations.
